The suspension has been modified under current ownership with a Kugel subframe. White steel wheels are fitted with chrome hubcaps with red resin Cloisonne center caps and 235/70 BFGoodrich Radial TA tires. The chrome finish is peeling and shows dents, and the corners of the hood show corrosion. Additional equipment includes a hitch receiver, a swan-cormorant hood ornament, Packard lettering on the hood, and silver wind deflectors on the side windows. The car is finished in older black paint that shows fading and corrosion and features a chrome grille with vertical “teeth” as well as chrome bumpers, trim, and mirrors. This Patrician is offered service records and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name. Features include worn chrome trim and three chrome ports on the rear fenders, a Kugel subframe, four-wheel power disc brakes, power rack and pinion steering, a Currie 9″ rear axle, Vintage Air air conditioning, and an AM radio. The car has been fitted with an LS3 6.2-liter V8 paired with a four-speed 4L65E automatic transmission and is finished in black over cream cloth upholstery. This 1951 Packard Patrician 400 is a four-door sedan and is one of 9,001 examples produced for the model year and was purchased by the seller in 2015 as a non-running project before being mechanically updated.
